2007年11月15〜17日にUniversity of California, Santa Barbara校で，"Nanotechnology and Occupational Health and Safety Conference"という会議が開催される（news)．主催は，NSFの資金で設立されたCenter for Nanotechnology in Society(CNS-UCSB)で，労働現場や実験室における健康・安全問題に焦点をあてたもの．詳細は分からないけど，6つのセッションが予定されている．
