カナダでも法規制フレームワークを検討
3月16日，トロントで，Canadian Institute of Environmental Law and Policy (CIELAP)が「ナノテクノロジーのための適切な政策フレームワークについて議論するためのステークホルダー・ワークショップ（Stakeholder Workshop to Discuss an Appropriate Policy Framework for Nanotechnology）」を開催した．
このときの議論が，CIELAPの上級政策アナリストSusan Holtz氏による"Discussion Paper on a Policy Framework for Nanotechnology"にまとめられた．彼女は，カナダにおいて，ナノテクノロジー政策フレームワークを検討するうえで対処すべき分野として12個挙げられている．
