‘Nanoparticles for European Industry ll - Measurement, Characterisation and Standardisation; Manufacturing Scale-Up and Processing; Regulation, Risks and Toxicology’

10月24〜25日にロンドンで開催．「計測，キャラクタリゼーション，標準化；製造，スケールアップ，加工；規制，リスク，毒性」とあるように守備範囲は広い．スピーチのアブストが読める．

Session 4は，基調講演が英国defraの人で，英国政府による環境・健康・安全研究プログラムの進捗状況について報告．次に，ナノ材料を環境に適用するケースのリスク評価をする場合の（定量的データが無いときの）定性的リスク評価フレームワークの提案，フランスのCEA（政府が資金を出す技術研究機関）とNanosafe2プロジェクトの紹介，Cardiff大学のBRASS(Study by the Centre for Business Relationships, Accountability, Sustainability and Society ）によるナノ規制の話，Lynn Bergeson氏による"global governance strategies"の話．最後は，ナノ材料の魚のマスへの生態毒性影響と規制への示唆について．

4th International Congress of Nanotechnology (ICNT) 2007 & Clean Tech Congress 2007

11月5〜8日にサンフランシスコ空港のハイアットリージェンシーホテルで開催される．ICNTの会議のトピックの中に，"Nanoparticles Toxicology", "Societal & Environmental Impacts", "Heath Safety Implications"がきちんと入っている．
Clean Techの方のトピックは，ビジネス，バイオ燃料．太陽光電池，化石燃料，電気自動車，持続可能なエネルギーの公共政策，直接熱エネルギー変換，電気化学的転換と貯蔵，ナノ構造太陽電池製造，知的財産権，商業化，ベンチャーキャピタル投資．最後の3つが特徴的．

European NanOSH Conference –Nanotechnologies: A Critical Area in Occupational Safety and Health

12月3〜5日にフィンランドのヘルシンキで開催される．暫定プログラムを見ると，初日の基調講演がおなじみのMaynard氏．日本からの報告も6件．そのうち4件は，トナー製造現場の疫学調査で，ナノ粒子なのかどうかよく分からない．

12月11〜13日に米国フロリダで開催．略すとISNEPP（イスネップ？）．主催はMarshall大学など．挙げられているテーマはこんな感じ

  • Toxicity and Exposure Assessment（職業と環境，健康と安全）
